Question:92 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the proposed extension and refurbishment of Ballagh primary school, County Wexford; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13830/96]
Written Answers. - Ballagh (Wexford) School.
The proposed extension for Ballagh national school is at the detailed design stage, which involved the preparation of contract documentation. On completion of the contract documents, the project will proceed to tender. At this stage, I am not in a position to give a firm timetable for the works.
In conjunction with the planning work for the extension, my Department is examining proposals for refurbishment of the existing school building. My Department will be in touch with the school management when this examination is completed.
