97 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Education whether she will provide a special care teaching assistant for a proposed special care unit for difficult and emotionally disturbed children at a senior primary school (details supplied) in Dublin 17. [13916/96]

As recently indicated to the Deputy, my Department has encountered some difficulties in its efforts to arrange for the provision of child care support for the proposed new unit. Efforts to resolve this problem are continuing in my Department.
