256 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Justice the developments, if any, there have been regarding the Garda inquiry into the tragic fatality at the Smashing Pumpkins concert in the Point Depot on 11 May 1996; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [14011/96]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the investigation regarding the fatality at the Smashing Pumpkins concert in the Point Depot on 11 May, 1996 is at an advanced stage. It is anticipated that the investigation will be completed shortly.
