67 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Finance if he will ensure that areas in County Cavan flooded by the River Erne are included in the national priority programme for the alleviation of localised flooding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14909/96]
Areas in County Cavan which flood occasionally from the River Erne will be considered, along with other areas throughout the country which suffer periodical flooding, for inclusion in the priority list of such areas, which is to be drawn up and on which the national flood relief programme will be based.
