The cost to the State per student, in 1995 for B.Ed. students attenting the Colleges of Education for Primary Teachers was as follows: Mary Immaculate College, Limerick £2,800; St. Patrick's College, Drumcondra £3,300; Church of Ireland College of Education, Dublin £7,138; Froebel College, Blackrock £1,065 and St. Mary's College, Marino £1,065. This does not include costs arising from the higher education grants schemes.
