843 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the discussions or consultations, if any, he has had with Teagasc in relation to the Research Centre at Ballinamore, County Leitrim; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15153/96]

The operation of the Research Centre at Ballinamore, County Leitrim is a day-to-day matter for Teagasc itself and it would not be appropriate for me to intervene. In these circumstances the question of discussions or consultations does not arise.
