53 Mr. Briscoe asked the Minister for Justice the number of reports of attacks or assaults involving knives or other similar weapons under the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act, 1990, made at Garda stations in Kevin Street, Terenure, Crumlin, Sundrive Road, Rathmines and Kilmainham in each of the years from 1991 to date in 1996; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Such information as can be readily compiled will be supplied to the Deputy as soon as possible. I am informed by the Garda authorities that the information requested is not available in the format sought by the Deputy and could not be compiled without a disproportionate expenditure of Garda time and resources.
