164 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for Education whether she has received representations concerning the provision of additional classrooms for St. Nessan's national school, Mungret, County Limerick; if so, if her attention has been drawn to the urgent necessity for such classrooms; if she will make an early decision in this regard; and if she will respond positively to this request. [17858/96]

An application for additional classrooms for St. Nessan's national school, Mungret, County Limerick has been received in my Department.

The accommodation requirements of this school are currently being assessed within my Department. When this assessment is completed, my Department will be in contact with the school authorities.
