121 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if his Department will pay all moneys due to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim in settlement of his claim as a result of land acquisition for the Shannon/Erne project. [18029/96]
A compensation payment was made to the claimant in June 1996 in respect of the com- pulsory acquisition of land for the Shannon/Erne Waterway project. The Waterways Service of my Department has requested the claimant's agricultural consultants to furnish certain evidence of title before any further payments can be made but this has not yet been received.
