105 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Health the number of persons employed by him to deal with press-related matters during the course of Ireland's Presidency of the EU; the total costs associated with such appointments; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18825/96]

Limerick East): No additional staff have been employed to work in the Department of Health Press Office during Ireland's Presidency of the EU. The three staff assigned to the press office in the Department deal with any press related matters arising out of the Presidency.

106 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the number of persons employed by him to deal with press-related matters during the course of Ireland's Presidency of the EU; the total costs associated with such appointments; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18826/96]

My Department has one officer who deals with all press-related matters. I engaged no additional staff to deal with press-related matters arising from Ireland's Presidency of the EU. Accordingly, no additional costs have been incurred by my Department in this regard.
