Vol. 470 No. 4

Written Answers. - School Water Supply.

Noel Treacy

Question:

174 Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Education if she will provide a facility at a school (details supplied) in County Galway; if her attention has been drawn to the problem at this school; if so, the date on which this matter will be resolved; the facility to be provided; the money which will be provided; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [19140/96]

I am aware there is a problem with the water supply at the school referred to by the Deputy. I understand that an application has been made to the Department of the Environment for funding to improve the water supply in the area.

I am not in a position to provide any further information in this matter.
