Dáil Éireann debate -
Thursday, 24 Oct 1996

Vol. 470 No. 6

Order of Business (Resumed).

I regret the Chair has paid scant attention to the query I put to the Taoiseach. I demand to know if the Minister will be here to take this debate. I demand that my question be answered.

This is most audacious of the Deputy when I was about to call her to resume the debate on this subject. The Deputy may now proceed.

This is a very long route to getting an answer to a very simple question. Will the Minister be present?

We are resuming the debate on item No. 10, statements on the beef industry.

So the Minister is not present this morning.
