Vol. 470 No. 8

Private Members' Business. - Visit of US Delegation.

I feel sure the House would wish to join me in extending a most warm welcome to the honourable Senator Fritz Hollings of the United States Senate and the honourable John H. Dalton, Secretary of the United States Navy, together with the other Members of the US delegation happily with us today. We express the ardent hope that their visit to Ireland will be most happy and successful. On behalf of the Members of the Dáil, the Irish House of representatives, and myself, I extend céad míle fáilte, a hundred thousand welcomes.

I apologise to the delegation for the weather we have provided. I hope it is better for the match on Saturday between Notre Dame and Navy.
