Limerick East): At recent meetings with the Irish Medical Organisation and the Irish Hospital Consultants Association I asked them to give some consideration to having an external facilitator to assist at the discussions to follow publication of the review body's recommendations. It would not be very useful to draw up detailed terms of reference for a facilitator in advance of publication of the review body's report.
I hope that the terms of reference and other procedural matters could be agreed with the medical representative bodies immediately following publication of the report.
