Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Lynch — the urgent need to make funding available to alleviate the hardship caused by the recent flooding in Cork; (2) Deputy Seán Kenny — the urgent need to provide drug treatment services in the Darndale-Priorswood area of Dublin 17; (3) Deputy O'Hanlon — the urgent need to make provision for suitable shelter for members of the Garda Síochána who are on permanent Border checkpoints; (4) Deputy de Valera — the serious ongoing building problems in Kilmurray national school, County Clare; (5) Deputy Deasy — the need to formulate a policy to assist owners of thatched commercial premises to enable them to retain or replace existing structures because of their heritage and cultural values; (6) Deputy Coughlan — the need to review the increase in fees by University College Dublin, in particular the fees for repeat or deferral of examinations and late payment fees, in view of the financial hardship it will impose on students and their families; (7) Deputy Moffatt — the incident involving the administration of a vaccine to 66 children in Newbridge, County Kildare; (8) Deputy Shatter — the need to ensure that the three-in-one injection is not administered to any child by a health board in error in the future; and the new procedures, if any, the Eastern Health Board has put in place to ensure there is no repetition of the events recently reported as occurring in a school in County Kildare; and (9) Deputy Power — the incident involving the vaccination of 66 children in Newbridge, County Kildare.

The matters raised by Deputies Power, de Valera, Coughlan and O'Hanlon have been selected for discussion.
