228 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice if she will have arrangements made to expedite the granting of registration of title in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact that the delay is causing great hardship. [20938/96]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to an application for first registration of lands adjoining the commonage shown on the folios referred to by the Deputy, which was lodged on 23 August 1996. I understand that, due to their complicated nature, these dealings can take some time to process and it is not possible to estimate a completion time at this stage. However, I can confirm to the Deputy that the matter is being expedited by the Land Registry.
