Question:

128 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Health if he will give details of the cancer rates for Cork and Kerry; and if he will give details of the regional variations, if any, in cancer deaths. [23085/96]

Limerick East): Standardised death rates from cancer in each county and county borough for the latest available year, 1992, are set out in the following table. The rates per 1,000 population for Cork county borough, Cork county and Kerry are 2.15, 2.01 and 2.07 respectively while the national rate is 2.12.
