Vol. 473 No. 2

Other Questions. - Second Commission on the Status of Women.

Helen Keogh

Question:

11 Ms Keogh asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform when the next monitoring report on the progress on the implementation of the recommendations of the Second Commission on the Status of Women will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24669/96]

When the second progress report was published in March last it contained information on all the recommendations and indicated that 80 per cent of the recommendations had been acted upon, with almost 47 per cent having been implemented in full.

I have asked the monitoring committee to examine the issue of producing a third progress report in the latter half of 1997.

May we take Question No. 13?

I think not. My apologies to Deputy Flood. That concludes questions for today.
