250 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the total amount of debts owed by semi-State bodies under the aegis of his Department at the end of November 1996; the comparative figures in this regard for each of the years 1990 and 1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Information in regard to debts of State bodies, under the aegis of my Department, is published in the annual reports and accounts of the State bodies concerned, which are available in the Dáil Library.
The Deputy will note that the annual reports show the debts' position as at the end of the respective financial years.
Audited accounts for the current financial year are not yet available. These will be lodged in the Dáil Library in due course.
