38 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Finance the total amount of debts owed by semi-State bodies under the aegis of his Department at the end of November 1996; the comparative figures in this regard for each of the years 1990 and 1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25015/96]

ACC Bank plc, ICC Bank plc and An Post National Lottery Company Ltd. are semi-State bodies under the aegis of the Department of Finance. The total amount of borrowings by these semi-State bodies at the end of November 1990, 1993 and 1996 were as follows:
