Vol. 473 No. 3

Written Answers. - Ministerial Travel.

Ivor Callely

Question:

85 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the number of foreign trips made by him during 1996; the destination, purpose and duration of the trips; whether the Government jet or scheduled flights were used; the identity and designation of persons who accompanied him on each trip; the number, purpose and duration of each meeting attended by him on such trips; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25128/96]

Details of trips in 1996 are set out in the following tabular statement. It is not feasible to quantify the number, purpose and duration of the meetings attended by me on those trips. Details of the destination, mode of transport and party for those trips are contained in the reply to Question No. 77 on 10 December 1996. Flights not referred to in that answer as having been undertaken by Government aircraft were undertaken by scheduled services.
