126 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education arising from her reply to Parliamentary Question No. 199 of 26 November 1996, when the family of the child requiring a school place will be contacted by her Department. [1863/97]
My Department wrote to the family on 22 November last requesting certain information considered to be of relevance in seeking a school placement for this boy. Following receipt of the information and consideration of the case, my Department wrote to the boy's mother on 14 January 1997 advising her to contact a particular school in her area with a view to arranging a school placement for her son.
