158 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the continuing delay in commencing the Ballymakenny water group extension to Blackhall, Sandpit, County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2163/97]

There is no proposal with my Department for an extension of the Ballymakenny group water scheme to this location.

Robert Molloy

Question:

159 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment the current position regarding the proposed Mutton Island sewage treatment and disposal plant, County Galway; if a date has been agreed for a meeting with a delegation from Galway Corporation to discuss the matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2164/97]

I refer to the reply to Questions Nos. 64, 230 and 277 of 22 January 1997.

No date has so far been set for the meeting referred to. The meeting will be arranged as soon as possible.
