238 Miss Quill asked the Minister for Justice if she is in receipt of the final report on the activities of a hospice organisation (details supplied); the action, if any, she proposes to take on foot of the findings of that report; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2059/97]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that their investigation into the all-Ireland children's hospice foundation has required extensive inquiries which have proved to be more detailed than originally anticipated. Every effort is being made by the gardaí involved to bring the investigation to an early conclusion.
