Question:241 Mr. E. Ryan asked the Minister for Justice if her attention has been drawn to the number of burglaries at an address (details supplied) in Dublin 6; and if she will request an increase in Garda patrols in the area. [2092/97]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that they are aware of a small number of burglaries committed at the location in question. I am further informed that both mobile and foot patrols have been increased in the area and that community gardaí are available to liaise with local residents and advise them on crime prevention measures.
