102 Mr. Cowen asked the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) in County Offaly is being refused disabled person's maintenance allowance; and if he will review the case with a view to granting this social welfare payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2335/97]

Limerick East): Assessment of entitlement to an allowance in this case is a matter for the Midland Health Board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer, Midland Health Board with a request that he examine this query and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
