127 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education if she has made a decision concerning the future of the Outreach Centre at Seville Lodge, Kilkenny, which is attached to Carlow Regional Technical College; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2433/97]
I have asked the Higher Education Authority to undertake a general review of outreach centres of higher education institutions and to report and make recommendations thereon. The authority has determined its own working procedures for the review and has appointed a technical working group. It has consulted and sought submissions from interested groups. Decisions on the future of the outreach centres established under the aegis of Carlow regional technical college, including Seville Lodge, Kilkenny, will be determined in the light of the recommendation from this review.
