108 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health when subvention will be paid for persons (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact that the funding was sanctioned over three months ago and correspondence to the Western Health Board was not replied to. [3004/97]

Minister for Health (Mr. Noonan,

Limerick East): As the Deputy is aware the administration of the nursing home subvention scheme in County Mayo is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. I am having the case raised by the Deputy investigated and I have asked the board to respond directly to him with their findings.
