166 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Education the policy being exercised in relation to two and three teacher schools which may be short by one, two or three students for the incoming academic year; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2863/97]

The overall staffing allocations for primary schools for the 1997-98 school year have not yet been determined. Pending decisions in this matter, no specific policy has been formulated concerning two and three teacher schools.
