Question:230 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the quantity of paper used, the quantity of recycled paper used and the quantities of post consumer paper recycled by his Department. [2894/97]
Written Answers. - Recycled Paper.
During 1996 my Department purchased approximately 8,909,852 sheets of copying and printer paper of which 455,000 sheets were recycled. It is estimated that 57,548 kg. of waste (post-consumer) paper was sent by my Department for recycling by specialist firms in 1996.
