In relation to legislative priorities for Departments, I would refer the Deputy to the press release containing the Government's legislation programme which was issued by the Government Chief Whip on 21 January 1997. The administrative priorities for Departments in respect of 1997 and beyond are being addressed in their statements of strategy.
