Question:156 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Education if an extension to a school (details supplied) in County Galway will be included in the 1997 Education Estimates; and when the contract will be sanctioned. [3464/97]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the extension project at the school in question has been listed on the Post-Primary Capital Programme for 1997.
The question of proceeding to construction is dependent on the successful completion of the architectural planning process together with competing priorities at that time.
