Vol. 474 No. 6

Written Answers. - Garda Investigations.

Michael McDowell

Question:

197 Mr. M. McDowell asked the Minister for Justice the steps, if any, the Garda Síochána are taking in relation to the complaints of threats and intimidation to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 13; and if her attention has been drawn to the person's considerable anxiety that complaints made by him to An Garda Síochána have been ignored; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3564/97]

I have previously dealt with this matter in correspondence with the Deputy.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the gardaí recently received a further complaint in the matter. This complaint is currently under investigation.
