Question:249 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when he will sign the order for designation and transfer of a holding (details supplied) in County Galway. [3682/97]
Written Answers. - Land Transfer.
I have agreed to the change of user described but no warrant in this regard has yet issued. The delay arises from the fact that a condition of the change of use is the execution of a form of indemnity by the trustees in relation to possible compensation claims. The form of this indemnity has now been agreed and officials of my Department are in the process of arranging the necessary documentation to comply with the statutory provisions governing the variation of the Land Commission Trusts.
