288 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Defence the number of FCA or Slua Muirí personnel currently in receipt of pensions from his Department arising from their service in the reserve; and the type of pension being paid. [3639/97]

Service in the FCA and An Slua Muirí, being generally parttime in nature, is not reckonable for superannuation purposes under the Defence Forces pensions schemes.
