41 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for the Marine if he has set a date for a visit to Balbriggan and Skerries working harbours, County Dublin to take place before any hand over of responsibility from Dublin Port to Fingal County Council as promised before the summer of 1996. [3427/97]
I expect that the arrangements for the hand-over of Balbriggan and Skerries harbours to Fingal County Council will be made in accordance with regulations under the Harbours Act, 1996 — in advance of the establishment of the Dublin port company in early March 1997.
I will visit both Balbriggan and Skerries harbours prior to vesting day.
