Vol. 474 No. 6

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Michael Ring

Question:

111 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be called for an angiogram in view of the fact that he has been waiting since April 1996 and his general practitioner considers the matter very urgent. [3686/97]

Limerick East): As the provision of cardiac treatment to eligible persons in County Mayo is the statutory responsibility of the Western Health Board I have asked the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
