Vol. 475 No. 3

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take expressions of sympathy on the death of the Leader of China; No. 3 — Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill, 1996 — Second Stage (resumed); and No. 6 — Credit Union Bill — Order for Second Stage and Second Stage. It is also proposed, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders, that expressions of sympathy on the death of the Leader of China shall be confined to the Taoiseach and the main spokes-persons for the Fianna Fáil Party, the Labour Party, the Progressive Democrats Party and the Democratic Left Party, who shall be called upon in that order, and should not exceed five minutes in each case.

There is but one matter to put before the House. Are the proposals for dealing with the expression of sympathy on the death of the Leader of the People's Republic of China satisfactory and agreed? Agreed.
