Written Answers. - Sligo Inner Relief Road.
I understand that an environmental impact statement, EIS, and a compulsory purchase order, CPO, for the acquisition of property for the proposed Sligo inner relief road are being prepared for submission to me by Sligo Corporation. If an objection is received by me against confirmation of the CPO, a public local inquiry will be held. In view of my quasi-judicial role in such matters, it would not be appropriate for me to comment further at this stage.
