Question:220 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education if she intends to make national lottery funding available to the Garryduff Sports Centre in Rochestown, Cork. [5129/97]
Written Answers. - Recreational Facilities Scheme.
A grant of £5,000 was allocated to Garryduff sports centre in 1994 under my Department's recreational facilities scheme. This grant has not yet been fully drawn down by the organisation.
A further application was submitted in July 1996 for assistance under this scheme and a decision in the matter will be made as soon as possible.
