Written Answers. - Animal Feed Sampling.
Traces of avian or mammalian meat and bonemeal were found in 76 samples of animal feed taken in 1996. Of these, 58 were tested in 1996 and 18 in 1997. All samples taken in 1997 which have been analysed to date, have been negative for either avian or mammalian meat and bonemeal.
