I propose to take Question Nos. 26, 29, 36 and 43 together.

The most recent information available to my Department from local authority returns indicate that there were 21 full-time and 66 part-time litter wardens employed during 1996.
The number of convictions under the litter legislation Act in 1995 and 1996 has already been set out in the reply to priority Question No. 13.
