Vol. 475 No. 5

Written Answers - Acceptance of Gifts.

Ivor Callely

Question:

180 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade the gifts he accepted since his appointment to Government; if he will give details of the gifts and their monetary value; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5285/97]

Since my appointment I have not received gifts other than those by way of token to mark occasions such as official visits and official openings, none with a value in excess of the threshold set in the Ethics in Public Office Act, 1995.
