Vol. 475 No. 7

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Liam Aylward

Question:

70 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Health if he will reconsider the application by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny for a motorised transport grant in view of the fact that a car is needed to transport his son. [5853/97]

Limerick East): The provision of assistance for a motorised transport grant in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer, South-Eastern Health Board, with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
