Question:

143 Ms Keogh asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the nominating bodies to each board under the aegis of his Department; the number of seats to which each of these bodies nominate; and the guidelines or instructions given to nominating bodies to assist in achieving gender balance in line with Government policy. The schedule below lists those State boards under the aegis of my Department to which nominations are made by nominating bodies.

It should be noted that while the county enterprise boards are under the aegis of my Department, the actual appointments to the boards are made by the relevant board itself.
The bodies nominating persons to boards, under the aegis of my Department, have been advised of the Government's gender balance policy.
