118 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Health his official duties, if any, on St. Patrick's Day; the official duties, if any, of the Ministers of State at his Department; if so, the duration of his duties and his visit; the number of people in his delegation; if he will give a list of those people; the total cost and related costs in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Limerick East): I reviewed the St. Patrick's Day parade in Limerick; no costs were incurred.

The Minister of State, Deputy O'Shea, reviewed a number of St. Patrick's Day parades in the Waterford constituency, no costs were incurred.

The Minister of State, Deputy Currie, visited Australia between Friday, 14 March and Thursday 20 March and had official engagements in the cities of Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra in connection with the St. Patrick's Day celebrations. The Minister of State then visited New Zealand from Thursday, 20 to Saturday, 22 when he had discussions with Prime Minister of New Zealand, the Minister for Justice, the Minister for Youth Affairs and experts in child care.

The Minister of State was accompanied by his wife and his private secretary. The total cost of these visits is not yet known.
