385 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will expedite the decision on an application to acquire shares by a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8195/97]

According to records available in my Department, the Land Commission does not appear to have any lands on hands for allocation in the townland referred to in the Deputy's question.
