117 Mr. Flood asked the Minister for Education when it is proposed to carry out improvement and boundary treatment works on the lands owned by her Department in Kingswood Heights, Tallaght, Dublin 24; the nature and extent of the works concerned; the intended future use of these lands; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [9373/97]

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach):

In 1996, my Department agreed with the South Dublin County Council to fund the basic development of the site in question, including levelling, grading, cultivating and fencing. It is understood from the county council that this work will be undertaken shortly.

The future use of the site is at present being considered by my Department.
