Vol. 477 No. 5

Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

Matt Brennan

Question:

28 Mr. M. Brennan asked the Minister for the Environment when the Cloonacool, Curry and Monasteraden sewerage schemes in County Sligo will be approved. [9015/97]

Responsibility for small public water and sewerage schemes, costing less than £250,000, has been devolved to local authorities which will now be responsible for the planning, design and prioritisation of projects within the capital allocations notified by my Department. Given the size of the projects referred to, it is likely that they would come within the new devolved arrangements.
