Callely); Question No. 120 of 27 June 1995 (Deputy B. Ahern).

These replies include details such as the names of the non-established staff in my private and constituency offices, their job-titles and their remuneration in 1996. None of these people has been promoted during my period in office.

My Department does not maintain records in respect of previous employment of staff members. The following schedule lists the dates on which they commenced their employment in this Department, their starting salary as at that date and their current salary. None of the non-established staff in my private or constituency offices is related to myself or to any member of the Government.

The expenses paid to the aforementioned employees in each of the years since I took office are as follows: December 1995: £377; 1996: £4,648.59 and 1997 to date £200. There were no expenses paid in 1994.

Two of the staff in question are based at the Department of Justice, St. Stephen's Green, Dublin 2. My personal secretary is located in my constituency office in Swords. I trust the Deputy will understand that it is not policy to give the home addresses of any member of staff.
